Copper pipes carry water, gas, and refrigerant through buildings, ships, and factories across Europe. Brassco Tube Industries manufactures them from pure copper and copper alloys such as brass and bronze, with outer diameters from 4 mm to 150mm and wall thickness from 0.25mm to 8 mm. Straight lengths run up to 6 metres, while coils and flexible tubing cover installations where a straight run won’t fit. Every pipe meets ASTM B111, B75, B280, and B68, along with the equivalent ASME standards.
ASME SB280 Copper Alloy Seamless Pipe, Seamless Copper Pipes, Copper Pipe, Copper Pipe Suppliers
SB280 copper alloy seamless pipes handle water supply, drainage, and gas distribution lines without the joint failures that are common in welded alternatives. Their seamless construction removes weak points along the wall, so pressure holds steady even under thermal cycling. HVAC systems and refrigeration units rely on this same wall integrity, since copper conducts heat efficiently enough to keep condenser and evaporator coils performing without added surface area. Fire sprinkler networks and electrical conduit runs use these pipes too, drawing on copper’s conductivity and resistance to arc damage.
Corrosion resistance keeps maintenance intervals long. A properly installed copper line in a standard water system runs 50 years or more before replacement enters the conversation. Soldered and brazed joints seal fast, cutting installation labor compared to threaded steel fittings. Copper also holds up under repeated freeze-thaw stress without the cracking that affects PVC in cold climates. At the end of its service life, copper scrap retains most of its material value, so recycling recovers a real percentage of the original cost rather than sending the pipe to landfill.
We manufacture sb280 seamless copper tubes for plumbing, HVAC, and electrical wiring applications. Each batch is subject to in-house quality control checks at each stage of production, from tube drawing to final dimensional inspection, so that all meet ASTM SB280 tolerances before shipping. Manufacturing Process
Melting & Casting: Raw copper is melted and cast into solid billets, the stock from which all pipes are made.
Extruding, Drawing & Pilgering: Each billet is forced through a die by a press to open a bore while drawing and pilgering close in on the final diameter and wall thickness.
Cutting: Pipes are cut to standard stock lengths or to the buyer’s exacting specification.
Packing & Inspection: Every batch goes through a finish and dimensional check before it gets boxed and readied to
Annealing: Heat treatment softens the copper back down, so it bends and forms without cracking on site.

Application Industries for Copper Pipes
Copper pipe fits into six core industries across Europe, and each one comes with its own pressure, size, and finish requirements.
Plumbing and HVAC: Water supply, drainage, and refrigerant lines rely on copper for its corrosion resistance and reliable joints.
Architecture: Architects specify copper for roofing, cladding, and decorative piping where long-term weathering matters.
Automotive: Fuel lines, brake lines, and radiator components use small-diameter copper tubing for its formability and pressure rating.
Electrical Industry: The metal’s conductivity is crucial for safe and low-resistance earthing in copper bus tubes and earthing systems.
Copper pipe: used in fuel & gas industry gas distribution and fuel transport lines with pressure rated and leak tight joints
Marine Applications: Copper and copper-nickel grades are used for seawater cooling and freshwater systems piping on board to withstand saltwater.
